Fitostill Plus Aboca Eye Drops

Fitostill Plus eye drops in practical sterile single-dose vials is a specific adjuvant for the prevention and treatment of red and tired eyes. Thanks to the formation of a protective film, it maintains proper hydration and restores the natural lubricating function of the eye's "tear film".

The components of Fitostill Plus characterize the product in its main activities:

• protective and lubricant thanks to the presence of Hyaluronic Acid sodium salt which prevents and improves the discomfort associated with dry eye syndrome;
• protective and moisturizing thanks to the polysaccharide components present in Liguflos® and the distilled water of Chamomile;
• humectant thanks to vegetable glycerin.

The synergy of action of the components of Fitostill Plus therefore has a soothing effect on the irritated eye and can be used both to relieve ailments and for their prevention.

Fitostill Plus eye drops is suitable for those who suffer from dry eyes (poor lacrimation) and in cases of eye fatigue and redness due to external agents, both direct (atmospheric dust, pollen, low air humidity, wind, brackish, cold , intense solar radiation, use of contact lenses) and indirect (use of the computer or television, prolonged reading, attention to driving).

Fitostill Plus eye drops are also suitable for frequent use, several times a day, and can be used by contact lens wearers, even when already worn.

Fitostill Plus eye drops is packaged in practical sterile single-dose vials, without the use of preservatives and dyes. A slight color is due to the plant component of Liguflos®.

Indications

Fitostill Plus is useful for calming and preventing states of eye irritation, relieving the burning sensation due to offensive external agents or prolonged visual efforts. Indicated for those who suffer from "dry eye" (decreased quality and quantity of tear production).

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MAIN COMPONENTS
Liguflos® : Lyophilized Extract of Chamomile Ligulate Female Flowers. The study of the biochemical characteristics of the flower head of Chamomile has shown that the ligules, known by the common name of 'petals', are rich in the polysaccharide component, in a higher quantity than that of the whole flower head. Since polysaccharides are the main functional substances responsible for the moisturizing and protective activity, Aboca has developed an innovative production process to obtain Liguflos ®. The fresh flowers, just picked from the Aboca crops, are dried and subjected to selection to obtain only the ligules. These are extracted and freeze-dried to concentrate the functional substances.

Distilled chamomile water: Distilled waters, also called Hydrolates, are obtained following steam distillation of the fresh vegetable and represent the aqueous fraction that separates from the essential oil. Distilled Chamomile water obtained from fresh flowers is filtered to obtain purity and is used for its moisturizing properties; it also contributes to the refreshing property of the product.

Hyaluronic acid sodium salt: The fundamental characteristic of this substance is to create a molecular scaffold with high hydration and lubrication capacity. On the eye, friction decreases during blinking.

Vegetable glycerin: Two components are obtained from the hydrolysis of vegetable oils: fatty acids and glycerin or glycerol. The latter compound is characterized by moisturizing and humectant properties thanks to its strong ability to bind to water and retain it for a long time on the cells it comes into contact with, limiting dehydration.

HOW TO USE

Follow the instructions on the sachet to open the vial. It is recommended to instill 2-3 drops in each eye by lightly pressing the vial. The single-dose vial is reclosable therefore, once opened, it can be reclosed and used within 12 hours.

WARNINGS

The product is for ophthalmic use only.

• During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the dispensing end of the container.
• Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components.
• In case of problems during use, stop the treatment and consult a doctor.
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and protected from light.
• Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date refers to the intact and correctly stored product.

Side effects: Fitostill contains substances that also allow a prolonged use.
