Choosing the best connection for the patient means choosing the most suitable and safest connector. Ideally, the connector should not have adapters (or have a limited number of them), to avoid errors, ensure greater safety and limit the production of waste.

MEMORANDUM

Start administration only after verifying that the probe is positioned correctly (e.g. by measuring the pH of the gastric contents).
Adopt aseptic procedures when handling bags, probes and infusion sets.
Wash the probe before and after administering food and drugs, and at least 3 times a day.
Replace the infusion sets every 24 hours.
