Zinc
It is a micronutrient essential for the normal development of the human organism. Many enzymes have zinc among their constituents, which regulates their activity: it has the ability to keep molecular subunits together, stabilizing the protein structure itself. In the context of the immune system, some of its functions are regulated by the presence of this microelement whose deficiency determines a weakening of the immune defenses and an increase in infectious diseases.
Lactoferrin
Glycoprotein that binds two Fe2 + atoms and is present in breast milk and in many secretions. It performs several actions including: immunostimulating (promoting the growth and differentiation of T helper lymphocytes, CD4, CD8 and B lymphocytes and also has an important role in the release and regulation of chemotactic chemical mediators); an antibacterial action (not making available free iron, essential for promoting the growth of pathogenic bacteria, thus making them more vulnerable to the action of antibiotics, for example the easier eradication of Helicobacter pylori obtainable with the intake of lactoferrin during antibiotic therapy); antiviral action (preventing the virus from entering and penetrating the host cell); an antioxidant action (chelating free iron counteracts the formation of free radicals) and also an anti-anemic action (the ability of this glycoprotein to chelate iron is beneficial as it increases the bioavailability of the iron itself).
Live lactic ferments
The main functions of L. rhamnosus present are to rebalance intestinal flora, prevent the development of pathogenic bacteria, improve digestive functions by counteracting constipation, diarrhea, abdominal swelling and halitosis, help improve lactose intolerance, help improve the immune system by stimulating the production of immunoglobulins and the activity of macrophages. Bifidobacteria (B. longum) that help prevent colonization of the intestine by pathogenic bacteria by producing acids such as lactic, acetic and short-chain fatty acids that lower the pH of the intestine as well as other highly disinfectant substances such as hydrogen peroxide which favor the development of pathogens. They also cooperate with lactic bacteria in restoring a correct balance of the intestinal bacterial flora. Some yeasts, on the other hand, such as S. boulardii, act as a temporary saprophytic flora to protect the intestinal system and keep it in good working order. In the intestine, this yeast produces lactic acid and B vitamins and drives away harmful yeast strains. Some studies have made it possible to highlight the different mechanisms of action that S. boulardii uses to eradicate pathogens, to inhibit the action of toxins and to restore the absorption capacity of the mucosa of the intestine while other clinical studies have also shown that it is useful in prevention and treatment of diarrhea associated with antibiotic therapy.
FloraGold is recommended in the treatment of intestinal dysbiosis associated or consequent to pharmacological treatment, in case of diarrhea or constipation and in general to promote the physiological intestinal function.

How to use
It is recommended to take up to two capsules per day or as needed to swallow without chewing or opening.
