Organic Agave Syrup

Natural sweetener with a delicate taste, extracted from Weber Agave tequilana.

It is extracted from the nectar of the roots of the blue agave (agave tequilana weber), a plant native to Mexico, from which a very famous distillate is also obtained, tequila.
It is a sweetener consisting of fructose, highly soluble, with a low tendency to crystallize and a sweetening power superior to sucrose (common sugar).
Thanks to the prevalence of this sugar it determines a very low glycemic index compared to the most common sweeteners (no insulin-dependent).
From a nutritional point of view it is rich in calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron.

How to use:
Excellent for sweetening baked goods, drinks and ice cream (it is used to lower the freezing point, to increase the creaminess and softness of the ice cream).
In fruit, as a substitute for sugar, it is an excellent preservative.
