Based on folic acid from Extrafolate-S®, Zinc and Vitamins B such as: Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12.
Vitamin B6, B12 and folate contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism. Furthermore, folate contributes to the growth of maternal tissues in pregnancy, intervenes in the process of cell division, contributes to the normal synthesis of amino acids and to normal hematopoiesis.
Folic acid is a vitamin found in vegetables, fruits, legumes and cereals. Folic acid can be degraded by cooking food or by interacting with certain elements. In order to perform its function, the folic acid taken with the diet must undergo several metabolic steps by the body before being converted into its active form, L-Methylfolate. Folamix containing Extrafolate-S (L-Calcium Methylfolate), the active form of folic acid, ensures the necessary contribution to the human body for physiological hematopoiesis and correct homocysteine metabolism. Furthermore, folate contributes to the growth of maternal tissues in pregnancy, intervenes in the process of cell division and contributes to the normal synthesis of amino acids. Vitamins B6 and B12 contribute to the normal formation of red blood cells, to the normal functioning of the nervous system and to normal function. Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the normal metabolism of macronutrients. Folamix ensures, thanks to the presence of Calcium L-Methylfolate, the right amount of Folate especially to subjects with mutations of the MTHFR gene (the two variants of the mutation are C677T and A1298C).

METHOD OF USE

We recommend taking one tablet a day, placing it in the mouth and letting it slowly dissolve in saliva, without chewing, preferably on a full stomach.

WARNINGS

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not take in case of ascertained hypersensitivity to one or more components of the product. Food supplements are not intended as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store away from light in a cool and dry place. Avoid thermal changes.
