MATICABLE TABLETS AND SYRUP

Indications:
Folic Acid is a very important vitamin because it intervenes:
in the metabolism of amino acids: in particular it participates in the catabolism of histidines, the catabolism of wisteria, the glycine-serine interconversion, the synthesis of amethionine;
in the synthesis of proteins;
in the synthesis of purine and pyrimidine bases;
in DNA synthesis.

Dosage and method of use:
children: from 1 to 3 years of age 200-400 mcg per day of Folic Acid corresponding to 1 tablet per day of Folium chewable tablets or 2-4 ml of Folium syrup;
adults: 300/600 mcg per day of Folic Acid corresponding to 1-2 tablets per day of Folium chewable tablets or 3-6 ml of Folium syrup.

Characteristics:
folate deficiency is common and can be due to numerous mechanisms:
- decrease in introduction;
- decrease in absorption;
- increased need;
- increased losses;
- genetic anomalies;
- drug interactions.

Components:
folic acid (Vit. B9).

Format: 150 ml. and 30 tablets.
