Pitaya is a good source of vitamin C, it meets 15% of the daily value. With its content of calcium (1% of the daily value) and iron (8% of the daily value), pitaya is supportive for bones and blood. Calcium, in addition to promoting bone health, is needed for muscle function, while iron is needed to carry oxygen throughout the body.
