High- calorie (200 kcal per serving) and high- protein (10 g per serving) nutritional supplement in powder, enriched with a mixture of soluble fibers (FOS, GOS and pectin). Dietary food intended for special medical purposes for the treatment of malnutrition associated with diseases. Gluten free.

Indications

The product is in powder form: it can be added to food or drinks to increase the calorie and protein intake without changing the taste of the food to which it is added. To integrate the energy and protein intake of weakened subjects and patients with various kinds of inappetence (for example, weakened elderly people, after-effects of hospitalization, osteo-muscular trauma, oncological therapies, senile loss of appetite, calorie-protein malnutrition).

Contraindications and precautions

It is not suitable for patients with galactosemia. Suitable for adult consumption only.

Recommended dosage

For adults: 1 or 2 servings per day according to medical prescription. The recommended dosage is intended as a supplement to the daily diet. For the preparation of the portions use only the measuring spoon provided in the package. One level scoop contains 5.7 g of powder. One serving corresponds to 46 g of powder (8 scoops).

How to reconstitute a portion : mix 50 ml of water or other liquid (e.g. milk) with 8 measuring spoons and mix with a fork until the powder is completely dissolved. Add more water or other liquid until you reach a total volume of 200 ml. Alternatively, the 46 g of powder (8 scoops) can be directly added to foods such as soups or purees without further dilution.
