Food supplement in drops based on concentrated currant bud extractives

The products of the PSC ™ line - Plant Stem Cells - are extracts of plant stem cells obtained from the maceration of embryonic tissues of plants, in a glycerol-alcohol solution, without the addition of water. The embryonic tissues of plants contain very high quantities of plant hormones that have the ability to interact with our organism. Black currant is a powerful anti-inflammatory, stimulating the production of natural cortisone through the adrenal function. Black currant is indicated for maintaining the well-being of the organism and in the prophylaxis of infections, nasopharyngitis, sinusitis, ear infections and disorders of the immune system. The profound effect on the immune system is due to the ability of black currant to activate T-helper cells. On the endocrine system level, Ribes nigrum L. stimulates the production of endogenous cortisone without the side effects and iatrogenic consequences of synthetic cortisone.
Phtochemical constituents
Black currant contains an omega-6 fatty acid called gamma linolenic acid (GLA). Gamma linolenic acid works by increasing the production of prostaglandin E-1 or correcting the deficiency of fatty acid. Prostaglandins E 1 help increase blood flow, decrease platelet aggregation and reduce inflammation. Currant is both rich in gamma-linolenic acid and alpha-linolenic acid; it has been shown that its extract is capable of modulating the composition of the lipid membrane and the production of eicosanoids. Recent studies have also shown that the concentrated form of blackcurrant bud extract is effective as a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (Bormann, et al. 1991)
