The SYS (Spagyric Hydroalcoholic Solution) differs from the classic tincture for the much higher content of active ingredients as its minimum extraction ratio is 1: 5, i.e. for each kilogram of plant only 5 liters of water / alcohol are used. The maceration of the plants takes place with a system called ECI (Integral Circulatory Extraction) which is characterized by constant temperatures never exceeding 36 ° C and by vacuum processing. The ECI extractor combines two important phases of spagyric processing, maceration and circulation, in a single step. The 1: 5 plant concentration that characterizes all SYS allows the normally recommended dosage of a traditional dye to be reduced by 50%.

25 drops 3 times a day in a little water.

Calendula is also widely used for external use (both as washes and in gels) against irritation, redness, eczema, wounds. Calendula contains essential oil, calendulin, a bitter, saponin, vitamin C, salicylic acid. It has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, soothing, decongestant and moisturizing properties. The flowering tops and leaves of the plant are used. Among its chemical constituents we find triterpenes, flavonoids, essential oil, polyacetylenes, carotenes, xanthophylls, sesquiterpene lactones (caleridine), immunostimulating polysaccharides. Polyacetylenes and some essential oil fractions show bacteriostatic properties; immunostimulating polysaccharides and triterpene saponosides accelerate the healing of wounds and dermal inflammations by leuocyte induction and connective tissue proliferation; flavonoids are responsible for the choleretic and diuretic activity.
