Food supplement based on Bromelain, Aescin and Boswellia. Bromelain is a set of enzymes with proteolytic activity, extracted from the pulp but above all from the stem of the pineapple. Classically, the Bromelain used in the world of nutritional supplementation is extracted from the stem of this fruit. In addition to its digestive effects, Bromelain is also known for numerous other systemic effects. In fact, the anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-edema, antithrombotic, anticoagulant and immunomodulating activities of Bromelain are today the most used in the clinical and preventive field. It is useful in controlling the evolution of inflammatory states and facilitating recovery from sports injuries, both in the case of direct trauma (bruises) and indirect (contractures, strains and tears). Thanks to its draining action, it accelerates the elimination of catabolites by promoting microcirculation when tiredness and fatigue are felt. Escin extracted from the horse chestnut bark increases the resistance of the capillaries and reduces their permeability; it therefore exerts an anti-edema action, supported by the ability to intervene on the local electrolyte exchange, favoring the removal of accumulated interstitial liquids. This capillarotropic and drainage action, together with anti-inflammatory properties and a mild antithrombotic activity, make escin indicated in the presence of disorders such as swelling, heaviness, pain and itching in the legs. Boswellia with anti-inflammatory properties that promote physiological joint function and counteract localized states of tension. This product is particularly indicated in case of increased need for these substances which can occur in inflammatory states and in post-surgical and post-traumatic stress conditions with tissue edema and swelling to which the tissues and joints are subjected, in cases of venous vascular insufficiency. , water retention with overload or reduced functionality of the lymphatic system. The formulation of this product makes it usable both during and after taking a therapy with painkillers and / or anti-inflammatory drugs.
