Galactomin 19 Formula Nutricia Food Supplement

Galactomin 19 is a nutritionally complete powdered food with whole cow's milk proteins, carbohydrates (fructose) with low levels of lactose / galactose / glucose, fats, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Indications

Galactomin 19 is indicated in the dietary management of galactosemia-lactosemia and glucose-galactose intolerance both primary and secondary to other morbid forms in infants and as a supplement in children.

Use and doses

The diet must be supplemented with natural proteins and other nutrients in the quantities prescribed by the doctor to achieve the required needs. The recommended dilution is 12.9% w / v (for example 12.9g of Galactomin 19 reconstituted at 100ml with water).

Osmolality

The osmolality of Galactomin 19 at the recommended dilution is 407 mosm / Kg.

Important note

The powdered formula is not sterile so it is recommended, where possible, to prepare it immediately before administration and consume it within 1 hour. Shake well before use. Discard the reconstituted and unused product.
