GEDHAFOL® is a useful supplement in case of reduced dietary intake or increased organic requirement, it consists of: folic acid, iron, fluorine, vitamins, minerals and a high content of DHA, the main component of the polyunsaturated fatty acid of the Omega 3 series.

GEDHAFOL® can be useful in pregnancy for the prophylaxis of the neural tube defect (spina bifida). In fact, it has been observed that folic acid deficiency during pregnancy increases the risk for the appearance of this anomaly. DHA is the main component of nerve cells, it influences their plasticity, promotes the health of the pregnant woman and positively influences the correct development of the baby's nervous system.

GEDHAFOL® provides an iron supplement useful for the maintenance of maternal deposits and a sufficient supply for the fetus.

GEDHAFOL® provides fluoride which is useful for the mineralization and trophism of teeth and bone tissue, both for the pregnant woman and for the fetus.

Reference for the effects

• iron: contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin and to the normal transport of oxygen in the body;
• fluoride: contributes to the maintenance of the mineralization of the teeth;
• folic acid: contributes to the growth of maternal tissues in pregnancy and contributes to normal psychological function;
• copper: contributes to the normal transport of iron in the body;
• selenium: contributes to normal spermatogenesis and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress
• vitamin C: increases the absorption of iron;
• zinc - contributes to normal fertility and normal reproduction;

Recommended dose

1 capsule per day on a full stomach.
