Particularly suitable for water and aqueous liquids Gel up Aqua allows the preparation of a gelled drink with a consistency that can be adapted to the individual needs of the patient in a few seconds and in an extremely simple way: the product has a neutral taste and does not interfere with the taste of liquids and water so gelled that they retain all their original flavor as well as a high level of transparency.
The product is amylase resistant
It is indicated in the diet of all those who have difficulty in swallowing liquids. The possibility of obtaining "tailor-made" consistency gels according to the needs of each patient make it particularly suitable also for re-educating to the function of swallowing.

Ingrediants
Thickeners: acacia gum; xanthan gum; hydroxypropylmethylcellulose; maltodextrin; sweetener: sucralose.

How to use
The quantity of gelled water to be taken varies according to the conditions, purposes and nutritional strategies adopted. It is therefore recommended to follow the instructions of the attending physician.
The amount of powder to be used depends on the consistency to be obtained and the characteristics of the liquids and foods to be thickened, such as initial consistency, temperature, acidity, etc.
Each single-dose sachet, pre-dosed with 3.5 g, allows to obtain the following consistencies:
Consistency Syrup - 1 sachet with 200 ml of water.
Consistency Cream - 1 sachet with 150 ml of water.
Pudding consistency - 1 sachet with 100 ml of water.
It is advisable to consume the gelled water preferably cold to facilitate swallowing; like all extemporaneous preparations, it is recommended to consume it no later than 24 hours (after keeping it in the fridge).

Preparation
Pour the contents of a sachet into a dry glass and add water or other drink, all at once, starting to mix immediately: continue to mix well for a few seconds until completely dissolved.
Once the thickening action has begun, the addition of more powder to increase the consistency leads to the formation of lumps: if the consistency is not enough, repeat the operation from the beginning with a smaller quantity of water or a greater quantity of powder.

Warnings
Not suitable for use as the sole source of nourishment.
Use under medical supervision.
Do not use in children under 3 years old.

storage
Keep in a cold and dry place.
Unused gelled water should be kept in the fridge and consumed within a few hours.
