Geliofil® Protect Vaginal Gel EFFIK ITALIA - CE medical device.

Natural product for the treatment of symptoms such as foul-smelling vaginal discharge, burning and pain in intercourse, feeling of vaginal dryness, etc., with an excellent percentage of efficacy and tolerability (90%).
It can be used to naturally enhance the effectiveness of therapies such as antifungals and antibiotics. Also useful as a prevention of recurrence of vaginal infections and in all those situations that can be considered risk factors, such as antibiotic treatments, menopause, pregnancy or menstruation.
It restores the natural balance of the vaginal flora, quickly giving relief. In the maintenance phase it maintains the natural balance of the vaginal flora and thus allows to prevent the onset of symptoms of perineal discomfort.
- Lactic acid to restore vaginal pH.
- Glycogen, a nutrient of lactobacilli, to favor their natural multiplication.

Components

Lactic acid; glycogen; propylene glycol; methyl hydroxypropyl cellulose; sodium lactate; water; Vaginal physiological pH.

How to use

Each single dose of gel must be applied for 7 consecutive evenings.
It is advisable to introduce the gel by lying down in the supine position. Each applicator corresponds to a single dose.
1. Open the tip of the applicator by turning.
2. In the supine position, insert the applicator into the vagina.
3. Press the tube to administer the entire product.
The use of a panty liner is recommended during treatment.
Prevention and maintenance: 1 single-dose applicator per day for 3 consecutive days for 3-6 months.
For women of childbearing age, use after menstruation.

Warnings

A slight burning sensation may occur during the administration of Geliofil (especially after the first applications).
However, this feeling disappears quickly.
In case of intense and persistent burning it is advisable to consult your doctor.
It can be used during pregnancy, however in general during pregnancy or breastfeeding, it is always recommended to seek the advice of your doctor before using a product.
In order to avoid interactions with other drugs it is necessary to warn the doctor of any simultaneous local treatments.
The use of condoms, spermicidal creams and diaphragm is not recommended during treatment, due to the possibility of inactivation of the means of contraception.

Do not use if the applicator tube is damaged or if the expiration date has passed.
