Description
Cold steriliser: the paracetic acid which is formed from the reaction of sodium percarbonate and tetraacetylethylenediamine (which is obtained after dissolving the product in water) has an effective biocidal activity against spores, viruses (HIV, HBV, HCV), bacteria, microbacteria and mushrooms. At the indicated concentrations (0.3%) it exerts a sterilizing action after a contact time of 10 minutes. The product is active 15 minutes after dissolution, the solution thus prepared is active for a maximum of 24 hours. Suitable for rapid cold sterilization and/or disinfection of endoscopes, optical fibres, surgical and dental instruments, transducers, etc. It can also be used with automatic endoscope cleaners. No environmental impact: the residue in contact with waste water degrades immediately into acetic acid, water and oxygen. Chemical composition: Acetic acid precursors and co-formulants.
