Positioning
The first placement must be done by a qualified specialist.
In addition to the measurement, a test is required for a correct fit and a good understanding of the positioning of the orthosis.
The inside label should be on the top of the leg.
We recommend the following procedure for putting on the orthosis:
- fully open the knee brace and position the posterior window at the level of the popliteal fossa
- close the upper and lower extremities by centering the C-shaped patellar pads around the patella
- attach the front straps for stable yet comfortable positioning
- finish the application by adjusting the closure of the rear straps; the splints must be parallel and centered on the axis of the knee.
