Glycerol FU Marco Viti - Plasticizer Moisturizer
Glycerol is the most widely used humectant in the cosmetic field and is well tolerated by the skin.
At low concentrations it is useful for preserving the product from dehydration, at high dosages it performs an excellent moisturizing and plasticizing activity against the epidermis and, if used in a high percentage within the product (over 40%), it can also perform a preservative activity.
From a technological and dermatological point of view, glycerol is therefore to be considered a polyfunctional and safe substance.
