Maternity tights

100% COTTON IN CONTACT WITH THE SKIN

Therapeutic stockings and tights with a high percentage of cotton for a soft contact with the skin. Hypoallergenic and breathable, they reduce the possibility of dermatological complications and ensure excellent thermoregulation. Particularly suitable in hot climates, for elderly patients or for those with allergies to synthetic fibers.

COMPRESSION CLASSES:
• Cotton 162: compression class 1 - Class 1: (18-21 mmHg)

Prophylaxis of venous diseases in patients at risk, functional disorders such as heaviness and a sense of fatigue in the legs, initial varicose veins in pregnancy, thrombosis and embolism prophylaxis.

Absolute contraindications:

Infectious dermatitis, dermo-hypodermatitis in the acute phase, dermatosis with active ulcers or sores. Arteriopathies with pressure index (ABI or IW) ≤ 0.55 (unless otherwise indicated by the doctor), Severe neuropathies, Extrinsic compressions on venous vessels (Baker's cyst of the popliteal cavity, lymphadenopathy, etc.), Decompensated heart failure, Septic phlebitis, Ischemic thrombosis (Phlegmasia coerulea dolens and Phlegmasia alba). Rheumatic fibromyalgia or in general any form of intolerance to prolonged pressure on the skin surface.

Relative contraindications:

Loss of sensation in the limbs (unless otherwise indicated by the doctor), intolerance to graduated compression stockings materials, advanced peripheral neuropathy (e.g. diabetes mellitus), chronic primary polyarthritis.
