Information on the individual components of Glutaredox®

Reduced glutathione : chemical compound fundamental for many biological processes in the body, such as redox reactions, it is also an important enzymatic cofactor. The support and integration of reduced Glutathione can therefore be useful in cases of deficiency due to both endogenous and exogenous causes.

Selenium : it is a cofactor of the glutathione peroxidase enzyme, important for the disposal of hydrogen peroxide, protecting cells from oxidative stress. It also contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Vitamin C : contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, to the normal function of the immune system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

L-Cystine : is an important precursor of Glutathione.
