Whole gray fine salt produced in the salt pans of the Ria Formosa National Park, a natural oasis in the Algarve region of Portugal.The salt extraction takes place through the traditional method which, using only sea water and sun, respects natural times evaporation of the water and allows the salt to crystallize, retaining all the richness of the sea. This method of salt extraction represents an example of environmental sustainability, as it does not use energy from fossil sources and contributes to the protection and safeguarding of the marine and coastal ecosystem.
