The GSH-VA glutathione supplement helps fight oxidative stress and the consequent generalized cell damage induced by the excessive presence of free radicals thanks to the presence of nutrients such as selenium, vitamin C and E. Vitamin C and Selenium also contribute to support the immune system.

Composition for Gsh-Va Glutathione

The composition for one capsule of Gsh-Va Glutathione is as follows:

Reduced Glutathione (GSH) 50 mg
Alpha-lipoic acid 112.5 mg
Cystine 65 mg
Vitamin C 50 mg
Vitamin E acetate powder 36 mg
Selenium 20 mcg
Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, magnesium stearate, silica

Daily dose

It is recommended to use 1 capsule per day, to be taken with water to facilitate swallowing, do not chew the capsule.

Components Contained in Gsh-Va Glutathione

• Glutathione Physiological tripeptide composed of glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine normally present in the tissues in concentrations of the order of millemol. Glutathione takes part in numerous metabolic and signal transduction processes. It performs a redox buffer activity as a cofactor of enzymes involved in the detoxification of external agents. It is also involved in the regeneration of ascorbate from its oxidized form dehydroascorbate.
• Alpha-Lipoic Acid Important enzymatic cofactor involved in the transformation of glucose and fatty acids into energy. Promotes the endogenous synthesis of glutathione and insulin. It participates in various antioxidative mechanisms such as the regeneration of reduced glutathione (GSH) and ascorbic acid.
• Cystine Dimer of cysteine, an amino acid that is particularly abundant in the skin and mucous membranes. Cystine is used by the body as a source of cysteine necessary for the biosynthesis of glutathione. Cystine is the precursor of glutathione.
• Vitamin E acetate powder Substance with a strong antioxidant activity, it carries out a protective action on cell membranes from the damaging action of free radicals. It participates in the formation of glutathione in synergy with alpha-lipoic acid and cysteine.
• Vitamin C Substance with a strong antioxidant activity, protects the cell from the damaging action of free radicals, an important enzymatic cofactor for the functionality of various antioxidant mechanisms. Vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the normal function of the immune system.
• Selenium Essential trace element present in traces in human nutrition. It is a fundamental constituent of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase which works together with vitamin E in counteracting the damage produced by free radicals to cell membranes. Selenium also contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Contraindications in Gsh-Va Glutathione

This supplement is contraindicated in cases of ascertained hypersensitivity to one of the components. The use of Gsh-Va Glutathione is also contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
