What is Guggul?

Guggul is a purified resin obtained from a shrub (Commiphora mukul Hook.) That grows in rocky soils in the warm and semi-arid areas of India. This resin is traditionally used according to Ayurvedic culture for its anti-inflammatory properties and to restore normal physiological levels of cholesterol and triglycerides.
The integration of the food ration with Guggul can be useful to reduce the absorption of sugars, fats and to favor some metabolic processes in general.
