Indications
Hydrofilm is used as a waterproof secondary dressing for fixing primary dressings (eg tablets, gels or calcium alginates).
It is also suitable for attaching cannulas and catheters.

Dosage and method of use
If necessary, cleanse the wound before application. Cut Hyrofilm Roll to the most appropriate size, remove the protective sheets from the side in contact with the wound, conform and position it correctly.
Once applied to the wound, also remove the transparent protective sheets on the outer layer of the dressing.

Characteristics
Hydrofilm Roll is a self-adhesive dressing for fixing primary dressings: it is composed of a transparent and water-repellent polyurethane film.
Thanks to this semi-permeable material, permeability to oxygen and water vapor is facilitated.
It supports and protects the natural regeneration process ensuring a favorable environment.
Hydrofilm Roll protects the wound from pathogenic germs by reducing the risk of secondary infections.
The transparency of the support film allows the condition of the wound to be checked at any time, avoiding unnecessary removal of the dressing.
The hypoallergenic adhesive ensures a good seal even on conical parts of the body.
Hydrofilm Roll can be removed painlessly and without leaving residues.
It is a non-sterile class I medical device, latex free.

Contraindications
Hydrofilm should not be used on infected wounds, bleeding or extremely exuding wounds.

The product correctly stored, in unopened package, has a useful life of 5 years.
