MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a compound containing sulfur, a substance found in many foods. Chemically it is very similar to DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide), which is very popular in the treatment of arthritis. Once applied to the skin or taken systemically, 15% of the DMSO is metabolized to MSM. Some researchers argue that the beneficial effect is due to MSM. Furthermore, MSM is preferred as it does not cause bad body odor or bad breath and is safer as it is a normal constituent of the daily diet. There is no known daily requirement for MSM and even if it is present in common foods such as milk, coffee, chocolate, fish, vegetables, fruit. MSM is often associated with Glucosamine in products sold for osteoarthritis therapy.

How to use
Adults and children over 12 years of age, one tablet three times a day with a glass of water.
