Indications:

this macerate is one of those of exudative inflammation (Pol Henry).

This bud extract is highly indicated in gout and chronic rheumatism, as well as in acute joint rheumatism.

The plant contains high concentrations of a glucoside (quercetin) which through hydrolysis produces active ingredients such as pentoxiflavone, flavonoids, tannic acid, mannite, coumarins, inositol, malic acid, ursolic acid.

Its properties were already known by Hippocrates, Theophrastus and Dodonnes.

The bark of the plant in phytotherapy is also used which would have an antipyretic and astringent action.
