SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Self Test
Description
For in vitro diagnosis and self-diagnosis. SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Test The HIGHTOP Self-Application Rapid Antigen Test is used to detect SARS-CoV-2 antigen in samples from the human anterior nasal cavity area. It is used to detect nucleoprotein antigen SARS-CoV-2 within 7 days of symptoms of suspected coronavirus infection. A positive test result can be used for early isolation and rapid treatment of suspected cases, but cannot be used as a basis to confirm coronavirus infection.
Important Self-Application Issues: If the test result is positive, self-isolate and contact your doctor or call the Corona hotline. A positive test result must be confirmed by a PCR test. Please note that even if the result is negative, there is no guarantee that infection will be ruled out, as low viral loads or possible sampling errors can lead to erroneous results.
1. Limit of Detection
The SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Test LOD is 8 TCID 50 / mL.
2. Clinical manifestations
The performance of the rapid detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen was evaluated in German and European subjects. A total of 402 frozen swab specimens were tested, including 102 positive and 300 anterior nose negative specimens. All swab samples were confirmed as positive or negative and the Ct value was verified by RT-PCR (throat swab) as a method of comparison.
Sensitivity: 98.04% (95% CI: 93.13% -99.44%)
Specificity: 100% (95% CI: 98.74% -100%)
Reliability: 99.5% (95% CI: 98.20% -99.86%)
3. Hook effect
No Hook effect was found at high doses up to 1.6x10TCID 50 / mL of SARS-CoV-2 with SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Test.
How to use
Before use, the test product stored at low temperature should be brought back to room temperature.
At room temperature (15-30 ° C) and humidity below 60%, the kit must be used within half an hour of opening. If the humidity exceeds 60%, use it immediately after opening the package.
Wash your hands thoroughly after testing. Bring all components of the test kit to room temperature (15-30 ° C) and wash hands 30 minutes before use.
1. Preparation:
- Prepare the clock or use a timer.
- Unscrew the cap and open the extraction tube with swab. Do not pour liquids.
- Open the foil pouch containing the test box in the marked position and discard the desiccant.
- Take out the test box and place it on a flat and clean surface. The test box cannot be used after opening for half an hour. Therefore, perform the test immediately.
- Open the package of the cotton swab on the valve stem.
2. Front nose sample:
- Insert the cotton swab into the first nostril at about 2-2.5 cm. The tip of the tampon must be completely immersed in the nasal cavity. If you feel resistance, don't go deep into the front nose.
- Rub on the inside of the nose in a circular motion 5 times (about 15 seconds).
- Then insert the same cotton ball into the second nostril and repeat the above operation.
3. Sample preparation
- After sampling, immerse the swab in the solution in the extraction tube and rotate the swab 10 times. Let it work for 1 minute.
- Use the extraction tube to squeeze the swab. Collect the liquid in the tube.
- Take the cotton ball and throw it in the bag of the
