The Moderma Flex Closed Colostomy Bag is a one-piece medical device, indicated for the collection of feces.
Technical features
The bag is equipped with:
- plate with square anatomical design with rounded corners. Dimensions approximately 100x100 mm, ensures maximum flexibility and adaptability to the contours of the body, with the advantage of comfort and adherence, against the risk of infiltrations
- CeraPlus hydrocolloid with full protection, contains ceramides, ideal for helping the peristomal skin to stay healthy and prevent transepidermal water loss
- transparent protective film with tab and clipping guide, facilitates preparation and application of the hydrocolloid
- Quiet Film 4-layer laminated film and anti-rustle, anti-odor, soft and delicate in contact with the skin
- anatomical shape of the bag
- TNT lining (non-woven fabric) Comfort Wear, present on both sides, does not retain moisture, and is soft, breathable and dries easily. Skin color for greater discretion
- with window: curved slot in the TNT that allows the patient or nurse to check the stoma and facilitates the correct positioning of the bag. The flaps of the window are welded together and will only open with a slight tension. Opening the window will in no way allow water to enter the collection bag while bathing or showering
- AF300 filter with 100% activated carbon, active surface 300 mm 2 protected by two special membranes in Gore material permeable to gases, impermeable to oils and liquids (patented by Hollister Incorporated). Located in the apical area to allow full use of the bag, prevents swelling, prevents leaks, no need for filter covers.
How to use
It is recommended to keep the bag in place for 12 to 48 hours.

- CeraPlus hydrocolloid: PIB, CMC, Pectin, Gelatin and Ceramides made with Remois Technology
- PE writable protective film
- polymeric support film of the hydrocolloid.
The bag is composed as follows in its parts:
- ComfortWear TNT coating in Spunbond PE
- multi-layer polymeric film in EVA, PVDC and Cl LDPE.
The AF300 filter is composed as follows in its parts:
- 100% activated carbon in incinerated viscose + activators of the deodorant function with active surface 300 mm 2
- internal and external Gore e-PTFTE membranes
- EMA protective cap.
Latex free.
Free of DEHP, DBP and BBP.
