This herbal product has been formulated with concentrated extracts of horse chestnut, escin and essential oil of mint in order to guarantee rapid and prompt relief in case of need.
It dries quickly and leaves a pleasant feeling of freshness, comfort and well-being.
Both horse chestnut and aescin, an active substance (saponin) extracted from horse chestnut fruit, have anti-edema and anti-inflammatory activity.
The activity of aescin is mainly due to an increase in the excretion of glucocorticoids which inhibit the inflammatory process and the formation of edema. It also possesses vasoprotective properties whose mechanism of action is substantially linked to the ability of the active principle to reduce the number of pores in the capillary wall, decreasing its permeability and strengthening its resistance.
