Description
HydroTac transparent (comfort) is a transparent hydrogel dressing consisting of hydrated polyurethane polymer that contains glycerin. The support consists of a polyurethane film permeable to gases, impermeable to liquids and bacteria.
This dressing is available in two versions:
- HydroTac transparent, the borderless version: an additional dressing material is required for fixing (eg Omnifix, non-woven fixation plaster).
- HydroTac transparent comfort, the version with border: this version is equipped with an adhesive border, which is coated with a polyacrylic adhesive. Therefore, no secondary dressing is required for fixation.
HydroTac transparent (comfort) is a sterile, individually packaged, single use dressing.
HydroTac transparent (comfort) is indicated for the treatment of dry or slightly exuding wounds in the granulation and epithelialization phases.
HydroTac transparent (comfort) can release moisture and absorb a limited amount of exudate. Provides a balanced moist wound environment due to its high water content (approximately 60%). Therefore, HydroTacTransparent promotes wound healing by supporting granulation and epithelialization.
HydroTac transparent (comfort) is transparent and allows an atraumatic dressing change. Thanks to its transparency, the inspection of the wound is possible at any time without removing the dressing. The product is covered with a semi-permeable layer to prevent bacterial penetration.
With HydroTac Transparent Comfort, which has a skin-friendly adhesive film edge, no other materials are needed to secure the dressing.
HydroTac transparent (comfort) is intended for application by professional wound care users. Wound care professionals can delegate dressing changes to patients and / or their relatives (non-professionals under the guidance of professionals).

Warnings
Do not use HydroTac transparent (comfort) on patients with intolerance to any of its ingredients, especially polyurethane, glycerin or acrylic-based adhesive. Do not use on clinically infected wounds or 3rd degree burns.
In the absence of data available to support the use of this dressing in sensitive population groups such as infants, children, pregnant women or nursing women, and in the absence of data to the contrary, this dressing should be used with caution in these population groups following doctor's recommendation.
Sterile device: HydroTac transparent and HydroTac transparent comfort are sterile devices, sterilized by radiation sterilization.
Do not use if the sterile package is damaged.
Single-use device: reusing sterile single-use medical devices is dangerous; reworking devices for reuse can seriously compromise their integrity and performance. Other information is available upon request.
To minimize the risk of potential infection or environmental pollution, the disposable components of HydroTac transparent and HydroTac transparent comfort must follow disposal procedures in accordance with applicable and local laws, regulations, regulations and infection prevention standards.
