HYDROXIRAM® ERREKAPPA - Gluten and Lactose Free Food Supplement
Food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of subjects with malnutrition resulting from chronic renal failure, where malnutrition and sarcopenia are very frequent. In these conditions branched chain amino acids and HMB are essential for the ability to stop protein loss and improve nutritional status more effectively than the exclusive use of a diet.
HYDROXIRAM is indicated for the diet of both subjects who need enteral nutrition and subjects with normal swallowing function, also facilitating the transition from enteral to oral nutrition.

How to use
It is recommended to take 1-2 sachets a day, separately, according to the doctor's opinion, preferably between main meals.
- Administration by the enteral route:
Do not combine the product with other enteral feeding formulas in the same bag.
1. Pour the contents of an envelope into a suitable and dry glass container; disperse in 100 ml of water at room temperature or slightly warm.
2. Mix until completely dispersed.
3. Administer via a probe connected to a syringe.
4. Wash the probe with 30 ml of water before and after administering the product.
Preferably use immediately after preparation, within 4 hours if it is kept at room temperature, within 24 hours if it is kept in the refrigerator.
- Oral administration:
1. Pour the contents of a sachet into a dry glass beaker and disperse in 100 ml of water at room temperature.
2. Mix until completely dispersed.
Consume preferably immediately after reconstitution.
Warnings
The product must be used under the direction and under medical supervision. Not indicated as the sole source of nutrition.
It must not be administered parenterally.
Do not take in case of known or suspected allergy and / or intolerance towards one or more of the ingredients.
