Sterile ophthalmic ointment for ophthalmic use.
HYLO NIGHT protects the ocular surface and stabilizes the tear film. HYLO NIGHT is an ophthalmic ointment which, thanks to its particular composition, is easily applied to the ocular surface. The vitamin A contained in it is a natural constituent of the tear film which favors a good tolerability of the ophthalmic ointment and ensures complete mixing with the tears. Relieves the sensation of burning, dryness or tired eyes. Finally, it facilitates the sliding of the eyelids on the corneal and conjunctival surface.

Components
1 g HYLO NIGHT contains 250 IU of retinol palmitate (vitamin A), paraffin, light liquid paraffin, lanolin and white petroleum jelly.

How to use
Use in air-conditioned environments, for example in a car or airplane, in the presence of wind, cold, intense solar radiation; even the stale air or cigarette smoke often causes dryness or itching of the eyes with the relative sensation of dryness or of a foreign body. These symptoms can also be caused by excessive visual strain, for example when you work too many hours at the computer, when watching television, or when driving at night. The risk of these eye disorders is even higher if you wear contact lenses. HYLO NIGHT relieves these symptoms by creating an adequate and long-lasting eye protective film. The oily consistency of the ointment causes a slight and transient alteration of vision therefore it is preferable to apply HYLO NIGHT in the evening before going to sleep. HYLO NIGHT can also prevent any discomfort from first opening your eyes upon waking.
Ophthalmic ointments must be used avoiding contact of the dispensing nozzle with the eye or skin.
Use HYLO NIGHT only if the seal on the box was intact before first use.
Unscrew the cap covering the dispensing spout.
1) Tilt your head back and gently lower the lower lid of the eye with the finger of one hand.
2) With the other hand hold the tube upright above the eye. Spread a strip of ointment into the conjunctival sac by exerting light pressure on the tube.
3) Close the eyelids gently then blink normally.
Put the cap back on the tube.
To avoid contamination, avoid contact of the dispensing spout with the eye or any other surface.
The frequency of use depends on your personal habits and needs. HYLONIGHT can be used in addition to lubricating eye drops and apply once a day in the evening before going to sleep. In the event of a more severe dry eye sensation, HYLO NIGHT is generally applied three times a day in each eye. For more frequent use of HYLO NIGHT, contact your ophthalmologist. There are no limits on the duration of the treatment.

Warnings
Using HYLO NIGHT during the day causes a slight change in vision due to the oily consistency of the ointment. In this case, you should therefore avoid driving the car, using machinery or working without a stable base. HYLO NIGHT should not be used concurrently with other ophthalmic pharmaceutical products. In these cases HYLO NIGHT should be used at least 30 minutes after application of other medicinal products into the eye. To dispense the ointment, exert a slight pressure on the tube without folding or rolling it. Based on the most recent data, HYLO NIGHT can also be used in children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Use one pack of HYLO NIGHT for each individual person. In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions such as redness, burning, itching or excessive tearing have been reported and improved immediately after discontinuing treatment with HYLO NIGHT.
HYLO NIGHT must not be used in case of individual hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product. HYLO NIGHT should not be applied while wearing contact lenses. HYLO NIGHT should not be used immediately following ophthalmic surgery or following acute eye injury as there are no clinical studies for this purpose.

Do not store above 25 ° C.
If stored well, HYLO NIGHT can be used for up to 6 months after first opening.
Do not use HYLO NIGHT after the expiry date.
Keep HYLO NIGHT out of the reach of children.
