Ialuset Medicated Gauze IBSA - Medical Device

Indicated for the treatment of wounds with exudate , infected or not, leg ulcers , including those of venous origin, pressure sores and post-operative wounds .

How to use

After removing the 2 protective films, the gauze should be applied to the wound, after having cleaned and disinfected it. The gauze is then covered with a sterile gauze and cotton wool. The dressing can be kept in place with the help of an appropriate bandage. Before renewing applications, it is recommended to clean the wound.The application should be renewed every 24 hours until complete healing. The evolution of wound healing must be evaluated by the physician.

Characteristics

Hyaluronic acid is the main component of the fundamental substance and of the dermis. It acts on all stages of the healing process. It accelerates the healing and re-epithelialization of skin lesions. Its hygroscopic power maintains a humid environment favorable to the tissue regeneration process.

Contraindications

Do not use ialuset® in case of known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or to any of the components of ialuset® cream and gauze.

Side effects

In very rare cases, local hypersensitivity reactions such as eczema have been observed.

Warnings

Adhere to methods of cleaning and disinfecting wounds and surrounding tissue.
Do not use disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts due to the risk of precipitation of hyaluronic acid.
The use of ialuset® on a venous ulceration does not dispense in any way from the compressive treatment (stocking or bandage).
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not swallow.
Do not use if the unit's packaging is damaged.
Do not reuse to avoid any risk of contamination.

Do not exceed the use date shown on the box. This medical device must be stored at a temperature below 25 ° C.
