Ialuvit

Solution with a high sodium hyaluronate content (0.5%) which, thanks to its pseudo-plastic mucomimetic properties, is uniformly distributed on the ocular surface forming a protective viscoelastic bandage. In doing so, it stabilizes the tear film and reduces the friction and stresses caused by eye movements. Cyanocobalamin and taurine, respectively a vitamin of group B and an amino acid, are physiologically present in the tissues of the anterior segment of the eye and, together with hyaluronic acid, are able to assist the re-epithelialization process of the corneal surface. Formulated with hypotonic solution in order to counterbalance any hyperosmolarity of the tear film and, thanks to its particular saline composition, restores and maintains concentrations of important ions, such as sodium, potassium and magnesium, essential for the well-being of the ocular surface, at physiological levels.
