ANTISEPTIC DRESSING

Indications:
it is particularly indicated on infected wounds, for colonized lesions at risk of infections.

Characteristics:
non-adherent dressing based on iodine-providone broad spectrum bactericide. It is composed of a weft of rayon-viscose filaments soaked in a 10% iodine-povidone solution. The porous texture of the dressing allows drainage of exudates and transpiration of the wound, avoiding maceration. The amount of iodine-povidone present in the dressing is sufficient to break down the battery charger, but not irritating to the wound site.
