IODES INLINEA Gocce - Food Supplement

Iodine-based food supplement.

Thanks to iodine it is useful in case of iodine deficiency, for newborns with congenital hypothyroidism, premature newborns fed exclusively enterally or parenterally, pregnant women, pregnant women with hypothyroidism, pregnant vegans, vegetarians, breastfeeding, women with osteoporosis, hypertension, affected women from hypothyroidism.

Hypothyroidism is the reduced production of thyroid hormone.

In children, it usually occurs if there is a structural problem with the thyroid gland or if the thyroid is inflamed. Symptoms depend on the child's age and involve delayed growth and development.

Diagnosis is made on the basis of newborn screening tests, blood tests, and imaging tests.

The embryogenesis of the fetal thyroid begins around the 10th week of conception, but the fetal thyroid begins to produce thyroid hormones only at the 18th week of conception. Therefore, a condition of maternal euthyroidism is fundamental for the fetus (maternal thyroid parameters within the norm), in order to allow the right supply of thyroid hormones, even during breastfeeding. Treatment consists of the administration of replacement thyroid hormone.

Tips and instructions for use

To be dissolved in a liquid of your choice.
One drop corresponds to 10 mcg of iodine.
Shake the bottle before use.
0-1 year: 5 drops a day.
1-10 years: 7 drops per day.
11-17 years: 10 drops per day.
Adult: 10-15 drops per day.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: 15-20 drops per day.
