MEDIHONEY Antibacterial Honey Tulle Dressing
It protects the wound by creating a barrier against the pathogenic elements of the wound, including those resistant to antibiotics, and in any case reducing the risk of infection.The osmotic action produces a flow of fluids containing the bacteria present in the wound, such as endotoxins and debris, rapidly contributing to the cleansing of the wound avoiding bad odor and helping to reduce the inflammatory effects, edema and exudate level. Granulation and epithelialization are enhanced through the creation of an optimal environment for healing.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. If necessary, protect the wound edges with MEDIHONEY Barrier Cream.
2. Place the dressing over the wound making sure it is in contact with the wound bed. The dressing can be placed side to side so that it can cover the entire wound area even if it is large, or the dressing can be used in layers for deep wounds, or before applying the Tulle, the wound can be filled with MEDIHONEY Antibacterial Medical Honey or MEDIHONEY Antibacterial Wound Gel MEDIHONEY Antibacterial Honey Tulle.
3. To cover MEDIHONEY Antibacterial Honey Tulle Dressing apply a sterile swab. The dressing must be sufficiently absorbent to handle the exudate produced by the wound.
4. When changing dressing, the wound should be cleaned following the standards provided by the protocols. The dressings can be folded or cut with a scissors to adapt them to the shape of the wound.

Change frequency: MEDIHONEY Antibacterial Honey Tulle Dressing requires replacement when it is "diluted" by the exudate. The dressing can remain in place for 7 days, however this depends on the amount of exudate produced, wounds with a lot of exudate require frequent monitoring and may need to change the dressing daily.
