Anti-Cellulite Gel

The use of phosphatidylcholine in aesthetic medicine to dissolve subcutaneous fat has recently been highlighted; in fact, being a natural emulsifier of fats, it is therefore able to favor their elimination and conversion into energy. Until now, phosphatidylcholine has been used orally in the form of tablets for the treatment of hyperlipoproteinemias, but some studies propose its use as an injectable form for the treatment of cellulite and eyelid bags with results that appear encouraging.
The mechanism of action of phosphatidylcholine in the field of aesthetic medicine is not yet fully understood. However, ongoing studies have shown its ability to reduce systemic levels of cholesterol and triglycerides as well as to increase lipolysis. The action of phosphatidylcholine, therefore, is particularly interesting for working on the cellulite component due to localized adiposity.

Fosfalife® gel

is a new cosmeceutical in gel formulation in which phosphatidylcholine, present in a high percentage, is in association with glycolic extracts of horsetail and centella. Currently, it is the only product available with these features.

This innovative formulation allows a rapid and deep absorption of the active ingredients topically; the synergy of action they express favors the reduction of cellulite, as well as the elimination and removal of localized fat by virtue of the following actions:

PRODUCT FEATURES

Rich emulsion with a pleasant touch, with high moisturizing and emollient power. Suitable for a light self-massage, but with high penetration. It does not leave unpleasant oily residues, but makes the skin soft and velvety.

Thanks to the content in specific natural active ingredients it is optimal in the treatment of imperfections caused by water retention, adipose accumulations and cellulite.

The active ingredients perform multiple actions: they favor the reduction of the thickness of the adipose tissue present and inhibit the formation of new adipocytes, favoring their mobilization. They also stimulate superficial blood microcirculation, with a pleasant sensation of immediate and persistent cold.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS CONTENTS AND ACTION

PHOSPHATIDYLCHOLINE (HYDROGENATED LECITHIN):

Molecule composed of saturated fatty acids (stearic acid and palmitic acid) with chemical-physical characteristics similar to the natural lipids of the stratum corneum that make up our skin; for this, applied topically, it integrates perfectly, penetrating optimally. Molecule capable of emulsifying fats and consequently promoting their elimination and conversion into energy. Studies conducted to date have shown its ability to reduce systemic levels of cholesterol and triglycerides as well as to increase lipolysis. The action of phosphatidylcholine, therefore, is particularly interesting for working on the cellulite component due to localized adiposity. Furthermore, phosphatidylcholine is an excellent carrier that allows greater penetration of the other active ingredients of the composition (for example: caffeine and aescin) forming microvesicles (liposomes) particularly similar to the structure of the cell membrane of keratinocytes. In this way the active ingredients are absorbed better.

CAFFEINE (CAFFEINE):

Substance known for its stimulating action on the central nervous system, it is also used in pharmaceutical preparations as an activator of local metabolism (cyclic AMP) in dermatitis or eczema. In cosmetics, this action is exploited to activate the metabolism of the treated area, where it is slowed down (cellulite, etc.). It also has a slight diuretic action of drainage.

ESCINA (ESCIN):

Triterpene saponoside extracted from the horse chestnut seed with anti-edematous and anti-inflammatory properties. It favors an increase in capillary resistance and decreases their permeability. It is therefore recommended for the specific treatment of couperose and rosacea.

BLEND OF CAFFEINE, COENZYME-A AND CARNITINE (CAFFEINE, COENZYME A, CARNITINE):

It is a mixture consisting of three active substances which have the function of accelerating and stimulating lipolysis within the adipocytes by stimulating the removal of lipids from the fat tissue. Caffeine stimulates lipolysis by inhibiting phosphodysterase. Carnitine allows fatty acids to be transported outside the cell membrane to be oxidized (burned) within the mitochondria for energy. The coenzyme A obtained through biotechnology acts at an initial stage of the oxidation of fatty acids, producing a thioester bond with the free fatty acids, then allowing the latter to react with L-Carnitine and Carnitine transferase. The association CoA and L-Carnitine leads to a "one-way pump effect" which convey free fatty acids to the mitochondria. The adipocytes are then emptied of their excess of triglycerides. In addition to this, the caffeine present acts as a promoter of lipolysis by inhibiting phosphodysterase, thus allowing the conversion of triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol.

SCOPARIA PHYTOEXTRACT (SPHACELLARIA SCOPARIA EXTRACT):

Brown alga with specific action on adipose tissue. In fact, it decreases its thickness and inhibits the formation of new adipocytes.

PALMARIA PALMATA PHYTOEXTRACT (PALMARIA PALMATA EXTRACT):

Red algae with a specific draining and stimulating action of the superficial microcirculation.

VITAMIN E (TOCOPHERYL ACETATE):

Used in its most stable form over time, that is as Tocopherol acetate, it promotes skin absorption, is an excellent natural antioxidant and its most proven action in the tissues is the prevention or slowdown in the formation of lipoperoxides from the lipids present. This transforms into a support in the treatment of mature and inelastic skin, restoring the natural skin lipid film.

TITRATED ALOE JUICE (ALOE BARBADENSIS GEL):

First of all it is important to specify that Aloe used in cosmetics is different from the juice that is drunk as it is deprived of Aloin (which is used in drugs). There are therefore several active components that give cosmetic results: they are hydrocolloid mucilage. In practice, these are particular polysaccharides (complex sugars) which are distinguished by having a chemical structure similar to a cross between sugar and starch. In fact it is a macromolecule with a very balanced action of protection and deep hydration. Physiologically we can think of the action of other famous macromolecules such as: hyaluronic acid, collagen or chondroitin sulfate. Their main feature lies in the extraordinary ability to bind water molecules (both the external one and the natural moisture present on the skin) and to retain them inside the stratum corneum and therefore in depth. This is facilitated by their high propensity to create protective films. The difference is that Aloe manages to do this job at much lower percentages than the molecules mentioned which are very expensive and require high percentages of use; therefore we are faced with an excellent gel capable of rehydrating not only dehydrated skin areas, but also to act in critical areas such as, a surface with a burn, an ulcer, an ichthyosis, an eczema or other. In fact, in this case we are already outside the cosmetic field. Indicated and recommended to increase skin hydration and tone, it performs a deep soothing action in case of redness and burns.

MENTHOL (MENTHOL):
Natural menthol (not synthetic), it is a component extracted and purified from the mint plant. Its main feature is its high volatility (ability to evaporate). This has two consequences: the most immediate is its characteristic scent as it quickly reaches the receptors of our nose, the second most useful is the fact that in its evaporation it drags the superficial heat of our skin with it, thus causing a sensation of cold. immediate. This sensation can be felt for a long time based on the technological characteristics of the vehicle in which the menthol is located. Surface cooling is not only useful for the resulting sense of lightness of the limbs, but first of all carries out a specific toning action of the vascular bed, resulting in an improvement in circulation (thermal shock).

SWEET ALMOND OIL (PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS OIL):
It is obtained by cold pressing sweet almonds. It offers excellent emollient and nourishing opportunities for the skin. It is used in pharmaceutical cosmetics on all irritated, particularly delicate or reddened skin because it also has soothing and calming properties.

NATURAL TRIGLYCERIDES FROM COCONUT (COCOGLYCERIDES):

Widely used for their composition rich in saturated but above all polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), for the presence of a good percentage of unsaponifiable fraction (hydrocarbons, carotenoids, tocopherols, sterols). In particular, PUFAs are very important for the health of the skin by entering into numerous mechanisms of balance of the skin system starting from the composition of the sebum and ending with the composition of the cell membranes. The cocoglycerides are also very important in sun products as they favor the optimal diffusion of the filters on the skin, increasing the real value of the SPF.

CITRIC ACID (CITRIC ACID):
Natural normalizer of the skin's pH. An acidic pH helps to keep the hydro-acid-lipid protective film of the skin in optimal and efficient conditions.

METHOD OF USE:

Apply twice a day morning and evening on the affected area and massage gently with circular movements until completely absorbed. Regular use is recommended. The cold effect is proportional to the amount applied, so use a moderate amount as a preventive measure, and then possibly increase it depending on the reaction of the skin. If necessary, for your own safety, first try the product on a small portion of skin. In case of persistent effect consult your doctor.
