How to use
Take the contents of two sachets daily to dissolve in water away from main meals. In the hour after hiring, it is best not to drink. After 45 minutes or one hour from taking, drink abundantly and then urinate: in this way the mannose linked to coli is eliminated, having given the substance time to act. It is advisable to continue the treatment for a period of time from three to six months and in particular cases for even longer.
Treatment of acute cystitis: it is advisable to take one sachet every three hours, until the symptoms disappear, preferably after sending the urine culture. Then continue with the maintenance dosage.
Cystitis linked to sexual intercourse: take one sachet one hour before intercourse Urinate before and after intercourse and take a second sachet after intercourse Continue for three days taking one sachet every four hours then switch to the maintenance dosage .
Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. The supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and direct heat sources. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. For use in pregnancy and lactation, consult your doctor.
In diseases that cause intestinal malabsorption such as Chron's disease, laceliaia and intestinal parasites, the use of D-Mannose may be ineffective. It is not contraindicated neither in diabetes mellitus (although it will be good to periodically check blood sugar), nor in pediatric age (the dosage must however be adapted). No side effects are known, however new research has highlighted the fact that just as the E. coli bacterium attacks tissue cells using mannose receptors, so does D-mannose surround the sperm and prevent it from adhering to the egg. This means that with regular intake of Irene the likelihood of conception is reduced. Cranberry increases coagulation time so subjects treated with anticoagulants should consult their doctor before taking it.
Occasionally, a decrease in stool consistency has been observed after the intake of high dosages. If there is a doubt that Irene's D-Mannose could be the cause, it is good to try to suspend it.
