ISO Clenny® Chiesi Isotonic Solution

Iso Clenny is particularly suitable for

• free the nose of newborns from mucus, thus facilitating feeding and sleep
• washing the nasal passages of children who are not yet able to blow their nose properly
• promote the elimination of excessive nasal secretions
• humidify the nasal mucous membranes
• daily hygiene and eye hydration. For external cleaning of the eye, in infants and children use a wet gauze with the contents of a vial
• presence of moderate sensation of redness, burning and short-term dry eyes (if the symptoms persist, contact a doctor anyway).

How to use

Open the Iso Clenny vial by twisting the top.
Keeping the head tilted to the right, gently introduce the spout of the Iso Clenny vial just inside the left nostril.
Squeeze the Iso Clenny vial on the sides and squeeze out the required amount of liquid.
Recline the baby's head to the left and repeat the operation for the other nostril.
Lift the baby's head and wipe the liquid that comes out of the nostrils. Wait a few seconds for Iso Clenny to work before removing secretions with the tissue (for adults) or with the Clenny A nasal aspirator (for children).
Close the Iso Clenny sickle by pressing the upper part of the spout, as shown in the image and use it within 48 hours.
For newborns: instill a few drops in the nostrils before feeding.
For children: instill a few drops in each of the nostrils 1 to 3 times a day.
In adults, as needed, instill one drop in the conjunctival sac several times a day.

Components

One vial contains physiological sodium chloride solution (0.9%) in sterile water for injections qs 5 ml.

Warnings

• Once opened, the vial must be used within 48 hours;
• not injectable;
• it does not contain preservatives and therefore can also be used for long periods;
• do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.

storage

Store in a cool place, away from heat sources and in an unopened package. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the package.
