The 0.9% isotonic solution, with the addition of ectoin contained in the vials of Isonebial, is useful for the daily cleaning of the nasal cavities, especially in the case of a blocked or dry nose. dry or encrusted nasal mucous membranes, improving breathing.The ectoin contained in Isonebial, thanks to its high capacity to bind water molecules, has a protective effect and a moisturizing action that gives relief to the irritated mucosa. Isonebial kit allows the nebulization of the 0.9% isotonic saline solution by means of the Spray-sol medical device (patent under exclusive license by Steve Jones srl).

Isonebial kit is indicated for the daily cleaning of the nasal cavities. The solution contained in the single-dose vials can be administered via Spray-sol or even with aerosol therapy. Spray-sol is a medical device specifically designed to perform topical treatments of the nasal and sinus cavities and allows the rapid administration of the solution by nebulization in particles of size between 10 and 20 microns, suitable for the treatment of the upper airways. Thanks to its specially designed shape, it fits ergonomically to the child's nostril, but can also be used by adults.

How to use

To use Isonebial kit correctly you need:

• detach a single-dose vial and warm it in your hands before administering the solution;
• open the vial by turning the cap, connect it to the syringe included in the package and draw up the solution to be nebulised;
• screw the syringe, filled with the solution to be nebulized, into the special inlet nozzle of the Spray-sol nebulizer;
• in infants and small children (under 3 years of age it is however a function of the level of collaboration) it is necessary to wash in a lying position on one side, keeping the head tilted to one side and gently inserting the Spray-sol into the upper nostril. Push on the plunger of the syringe to nebulize the solution;
• in older children and adults, hold the torso forward with the head slightly tilted to one side and insert Spray-sol into the upper nostril. Push on the plunger of the syringe to nebulize the solution;
• repeat the same operations for the other nostril, trying to divide the solution contained in the syringe equally between the two nostrils;
• Before storing the device, rinse the syringe under running water and wash the Spray-sol.

At the end of each use, wash the Spray-sol nebulizer under running water, with the possible addition of a drop of neutral soap (non-abrasive). Before putting it away, dry it with a soft cloth. Then rinse the body and plunger of the syringe under running water and dry them thoroughly before reassembling the syringe.

How to use

It is advisable to respect the following frequency of use:

• Infants: instill a few drops in each nostril, several times a day, generally before feeding or before sleeping.
• Children and adults: 1-3 washes per nostril, several times a day.

Components

Each vial of Isonebial contains: sodium chloride; ectoine; sodium phosphate, polyvinylpyrrolidone, water.

Warnings

The solution contained in Isonebial is not injectable.
Use the product only for its intended use.
In children under one year of age and in case of concomitant drug therapy, use med.
