Isosource Protein is a high protein AFMS for tube and oral nutrition

Isosource Protein is a dietetic food for special medical purposes, designed for certain categories of people who suffer from certain specific diseases, such as: high need for proteins, which have a negative nitrogen balance, are hypercatabolic (neoplastic or elderly). It is therefore a high-protein and moderately high-calorie product with a vanilla flavor. It is gluten -free and has clinically irrelevant amounts of lactose .
Isosource Protein complete food from a nutritional point of view, it can be administered both orally and enterally. As mentioned, Isosource Protein is a complete food, capable of providing a caloric concentration of 1.3 kcal / ml, distributed as follows from an energetic point of view: proteins 21%, lipids 30%, carbohydrates 49%. It should always be taken after medical consultation and, in any case, not before the age of 3. Isosource Protein is perfect both as a sole nutritional source and as a supplement to the diet. In the first case the recommended dose is 1500 ml per day, in the second case 500 ml per day or more, according to medical prescription.
