Itioxide Pet RoyPet Foam

Veterinary device based on ichthyol and micronized zinc oxide with astringent, soothing and antiseptic action. Thanks to its barrier foam property it protects the skin of dogs and cats from bacterial and fungal contamination. Non-toxic foam, easy to apply, which does not create any discomfort to the animal. Useful in the treatment of dermatitis complicated by bacteria such as furunculosis, folliculitis, abscesses and superficial ulcers. It works by facilitating the maturation of suppurative skin lesions, restoring normal skin conditions.

Property

Ichthyol, thanks to the activity of sulfur, has keratoplastic, antiseptic, antiseborrheic, anti-inflammatory and decongestant properties. Zinc oxide has a soothing, healing and anti-inflammatory action, capable of recalling and activating cellular elements responsible for wound healing and healing.

Components

Ammonium sulphoichthyolate, mallow extract, salicylic acid, eucalyptus and lemon essential oils, chlorhexidine, rice starch, zinc oxide.

How to use

Distribute the foam all over the animal's body, in the ears or only on the parts to be treated evenly, favoring its penetration. If the animal is not shaved, rub a suitable amount of product against the grain, so that the skin and coat are moist. Do not rinse and do not dry with cloths or absorbent paper. Repeat the application initially twice a day and then once a day or at longer intervals in the opinion of the veterinarian until complete remission. Brush before each application. The foam can be used for prophylactic purposes after each washing of the animal, in this case apply to damp hair before drying.

Warnings

For external use. Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children. The use of topical products, especially if prolonged, can give rise to irritation or sensitization phenomena, which require treatment interruption. Avoid contact with eyes, in case this happens, rinse with running water. Danger: highly flammable aerosol. Pressurized container: May burst if heated. Keep away from heat / sparks / open flames / heated surfaces. Not smoking. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Pressurized container: do not pierce or burn, even after use.
