IUD Multisafe CU 375 is an intrauterine contraceptive device consisting of two flexible polyethylene arms, of which the longitudinal one is embraced by a copper wire. If used, the product has the function of preventing the risk of unwanted pregnancies, effectively preventing fertilization. This type of device offers complete protection from pregnancy thanks to the action of copper. If used correctly, they are safe for women at low risk of contracting sexual diseases.

Composition and properties

It is made of polyethylene and baric sulphate. The arms of which the device is composed are flexible and allow the complete adhesion of the IUD to the uterus, without compromising anything at a physiological level. The contraceptive power is probably due to a sterile inflammatory response inside the uterus due to the presence of a foreign body. These changes simply affect the mobility of sperms by limiting their ability to fertilize. The Multisafe CU 375 device is valid for up to 5 years.
