Jelonet

Paraffin Sterile Fat Gauze

Jelonet is a sterile paraffin tulle gras dressing made of open weave gauze. The threads of the gauze are intertwined to minimize fraying, in case the dressing is cut into the desired shape. Jelonet has low adherence and allows free wound drainage, allowing exudate to pass to an absorbent secondary dressing. Jelonet is non-medicated and is therefore ideal for use with local antiseptics or antibiotics. Jelonet is available in various sizes, the largest of which is suitable for use in Burn Departments. It is available in different packaging: dressing in envelope for single application with aseptic technique; in metal boxes, in order to facilitate its application on large parts of the body, in cases where it is necessary to use the entire box in a single application.
