Described as extraordinarily handsome and more intense than ever, Gaultier's ultra male is noticeably different from Le Mâle, and is more on the eastern side Contrary to the classic male fougére. The legendary perfume behind this perfume, Francis Kurkdjian, brings the original 1995 version updated with an incredibly modern composition.
The opening is juicy, sticky and candied, with a rich explosion of fresh citrus notes between notes of lemon and bergamot, sweets, lavender and licorice. Ultra Male's heart is filled with cinnamon and cumin, creating a spicy and seductive blend of cozy warmth. There is plenty of wheat around the edges - a little black vanilla peels and astringent patchouli to give the scent a more robust feel. Underneath all of this is a subtle touch of sage clara and mint in the background. The base is gently warmed by amber and dry and sharp cedar notes.
