COMPOSITION

PROPERTIES ATTRIBUTED BY INTERNATIONAL BIBLIOGRAPHY TO THE NUTRIENTS CONTAINED:

• Fermented red rice tit. 5% in Monacolin K: Fermented red rice is produced by the fermentation of red rice by the Monascus Purpureus, a fungus that produces bacteriostatic substances, sterols, ac. fats and triterpenoids such as Monacoline. Monacolins compete structurally at the level of HMG-CoA-Reductase with HMGCoA, precursor of mevalonate, inhibiting the hepatic synthesis of cholesterol. Type K faithfully imitates the chemical structure and pharmacological action of Statins (Lovastatin) by carrying out the cholesterol-lowering action, and blocking the endogenous biosynthesis of cholesterol. The images show the effects on the treatment with Monacolin K.
• Vitamins D3 and K2: Vitamin D plays an important role in the prevention of cardiovascular disease. Vitamin D deficiencies are associated with a
  increase in diseases such as obesity, insulin resistance, hypertension and diabetes.
• Vitamins B6 - B12 and B9 (Folic Acid): They play an important role in preventing atherosclerosis as they are capable of lowering the levels of Homocysteine (an indicator of cardiovascular disease) in the blood. They can promote reactions of: Homocysteine re-methylation to Methionine, Homocysteine degradation into Cysteine. Vitamin B6-9-12 deficiencies can increase homocysteine concentration with consequent risk of atherosclerosis, stroke, heart attack, thromboembolism.
• Moradyn: is a special patented extract of purple corn varieties (Zea mays L.) obtained with an exclusive extraction process to standardize anthocyanins. Its properties have been studied in depth in collaboration with the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Pavia.

Moradyn plays an important role in:

Numerous studies show that a diet rich in anthocyanins (especially cyanidin-3-glucoside) reduces the risk of death from cardiovascular disease, in particular the intake of purple corn anthocyanins for 15 weeks has been linked to a reduction in abdominal fat, a in turn associated with a reduction in blood pressure and, at the same time, a reduced arterial stiffness was manifested. In fact, anthocyanins upregulate endothelial NO synthase, thus preserving the vasorelaxant nitric oxide and thus inhibiting arterial contraction. Furthermore, the prevention of LDL oxidation helps to keep the structure of the venous walls intact.

DIABETIC NEPHROPATHY
Recent studies show that purple corn anthocyanins can delay diabetic nephropathy after 8 weeks of treatment.

• Guggul: Antisclerotic action, inhibits the oxidation of LDL, responsible for the formation of plaques and the hardening of the venous walls. Significantly reduces CT, LDL and triglycerides, increasing the number of LDL cholesterol receptors in the liver and improving cholesterol-receptor binding.
  Excellent remedy for food cholesterol (very high fat diet).
• Coenzyme Q10: cardioprotective, antioxidant and anti-aging action. It increases the bioenergy of heart cells and reduces oxidative stress. Hypocholesterolemic action, it reduces the level of LDL in the blood and protects against the oxidation process, reducing the risk of atherosclerotic plaques.
• Green tea: polyphenols (Epigallocatechin gallate) are compounds with high antioxidant power, inhibit the formation of clots, reduce the presence of fat and cholesterol in the blood and slow down the development of atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease. Furthermore, polyphenols have a positive effect on lowering blood pressure.
• Quercetin: Bioflavonoid with strong antioxidant and anti-aging action. At the cardiovascular level, Quercetin has an action: - Antiplatelet agent - Antithrombotic.
• Astaxanthin: Red-orange pigment, member of the macro-family of carotenoids. Synthesized in appropriate quantities by microalgae, including
  "The Haematococcus pluvialis". Several studies have demonstrated the vaso and cardio-protective effect of astaxanthin, with a reduction in the oxidation of LDL lipoproteins, while ensuring an increase in blood HDL concentrations. It also shows antihypertensive activities, probably related to a direct action of astaxanthin on the renin-angiotensin system.
• Selenium: Micronutrient trace mineral with high antioxidant power. Thanks to its ability to protect cell membranes from oxidation, acting as an enzymatic cofactor of enzymes such as glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and thioredoxin (Trx) disulfide reductase, selenium has a protective effect against cardiovascular diseases.
• Resveratrol: Known antioxidant properties, counteracts the formation of free radicals at the base of oxidative stress.
