Indications

Indicated in anxious and irritable dogs and cats thanks to the properties of its main constituents. Tryptophan (L-tryptophan) is able to cross the brain blood barrier and act on the central nervous system.

Clinical studies on the mode of action are available upon request.

Thiamine deficiency is notoriously associated with nervous disorders, while the presence of niacin allows L-tryptophan to perform to its full potential.

How to use

For subjective fears or in case of anxiety before an event, administer the following quantities preferably one hour before the required effect.

Body weight / No. of tablets

• <5kg: 1 tablet
• 5-10Kg: 1 and 1/2 tablets
• 10Kg-20kg: 2 tablets
• 20Kg-30Kg: 2 and 1/2 tablets
• Over 30Kg: 3 tablets

For long-term management of behavioral problems, administer half of the above doses every day.

If administration of the tablet proves difficult, KalmAid in liquid form can be used
