KARDIS Q10® Sikurafarm® - Gluten and Lactose Free Food Supplement

KARDIS Q10® is a food supplement based on monacolin K, hydroxytyrosol, coenzyme Q10, vitamins B1 and C; Vitamin B1 contributes to normal heart function, while Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels.

Characteristics

All the active ingredients contained in KARDIS Q10 boast mechanisms of action recognized by the scientific community and supported by many clinical studies. Fermented red rice is obtained from the fermentation of common rice (Oryza sativa L.), by a particular yeast, called Monascus purpureus or red yeast; during its fermenting activity, this yeast is in fact enriched with a group of substances, called monacolins, to which a marked cholesterol-lowering activity has been scientifically attributed. Among these, monacolin K stands out, which reflects the pharmacological action of lovastatin, a drug belonging to the category of statins; this behavior is due to the similarity from the point of view of the chemical formula of the statin. Similarly to these products, monacolin K in red rice is able to inhibit the enzyme hydroxymethylglutaryl-CoA reductase (HMG-CoA reductase), which is the key enzyme in the synthesis of cholesterol, thus reducing plasma levels. Since the inhibitors of HMG-CoA reductase, including fermented red rice, lower the synthesis of ubiquinone (a powerful antioxidant known as coenzyme Q10), in case of prolonged use it is advisable to supplement this element, which becomes even more important. if we consider its positive action on the health of the cardiovascular system; for these reasons the KARDIS Q10 product has been enriched with 50 mg per capsule of coenzyme Q10. The hydroxytyrosol contained in the fruit of the olive tree (Olea Europaea L.) is a secondary metabolite with strong anti-hypertensive properties, it is able to increase coronary flow and exert an antiarrhythmic effect. Hydroxytyrosol regulates the metabolism of blood lipids (cholesterol and triglycerides), with a lowering of the level of blood lipoproteins (LDL, the so-called bad cholesterol); this decrease in cholesterol is mainly due to the inhibition by hydroxytyrosol of the enzyme HMG-coA reductase, a key enzyme in the biosynthesis of cholesterol. Vitamin B1 has the claim approved by EFSA, that is, thiamine contributes to normal heart function, thanks to its vasodilating effect it improves blood flow and this is a very important aspect especially in subjects with high lipid indices. Vitamin C also has the claim authorized by EFSA, i.e. Vitamin C contributes to the normal formation of collagen for the normal function of blood vessels: Vitamin C can improve the state of the endothelium, the tissue that lines the internal surface of blood vessels and be useful for cardiovascular health especially in people with high cholesterol.

How to use

We recommend taking one capsule a day to be swallowed with a glass of water.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not take during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored, in unopened package. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and away from heat sources. It is not indicated in subjects with known hypersensitivity to one of the components.
