Kelart liquid formulation is a food supplement useful as an adjunct in the prevention and treatment of osteoarticular diseases , characterized by alteration of the cartilage and degeneration of the same, osteoarthritis , degenerative processes related to age and traumas.

Thanks to its components, which are important for maintaining the functionality of the articular cartilages, Kelart is useful in post-traumatic rehabilitation and degeneration from intense sports and senile activity.

Active components and their characteristics

• Glucosamine hydrochloride (600 mg per sachet) : essential for cartilage and for the metabolism of the cartilage matrix. Its deficiency can damage the cartilages and the consistency of the synovial fluid.

• Chondroitin Sulphate (500 mg per sachet): fundamental component of cartilage and connective tissue. It has an important inhibiting action on the proteolytic enzymes responsible for cartilage alteration.

• MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) (300 mg per sachet): essential for the synthesis of sulfur amino acids that make up the cartilage and collagen as it gives optimal consistency and elasticity.

• Collagen Peptides (100 mg per sachet): essential component of connective tissue, ensures resistance and flexibility to the articular cartilage

• Garcinia Mangostana (100 mg per sachet, of which 40 mg of Mangostina, active in Garcinia): anti-inflammatory and analgesic action, has a strong antioxidant action.

• Bromelain 2500 GDU (30 mg per sachet): anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous action, particularly effective on soft tissues (tendons, ligaments, cartilages). It acts with a different action than NSAIDs, showing a synergistic action.

• Vitamin E (30 mg per sachet) and Selenium (0.05 mg per sachet) : powerful antioxidant action.

Something about the joints ...

The joints constitute the connection system between 2 or more bone segments, interconnected through the connective tissues.

The joints perform 3 main functions:

• Structural : they join the various bones together.

• Dynamics : allow movement between one bone and another.

• Shock absorber : absorption of shocks and stresses.

The cartilage matrix of which the joints are composed essentially consists of extracellular fibers ( collagen and elastin ), water and amorphous substance ( proteoglycans ).

Collagen is the most abundant structural protein in vertebrates, and approximately 90% of vertebrate cartilage tissues themselves consist of type II collagen.

Collagen provides elasticity and resistance to the tissues.

Proteoglycans are a protein-carbohydrate complex that forms a viscous matrix that connects the fibrous and cellular components of cartilage.

They are composed of a very long filamentous structure of hyaluronic acid , proteins and GAGs (glycosaminoglycans).

They provide lubrication and absorb the compressive forces exerted on the joints.

GAGs include Hyaluronic Acid and Chondroitin Sulfate and all derive from Glucosamine and Galactosamine .

The complex joint structure is often prone to injuries, which can be of 2 types:

• From trauma: injuries, surgery, etc,

• From progressive degeneration: for example osteoarthritis.

In the first case the joints undergo a violent and abrupt insult that alters their correct functionality, in the second case the joint structures undergo a slow and progressive wear.

In both cases it is possible to intervene with a chondroprotector capable of positively influencing the cartilage metabolism.

Kelart is presented in its new liquid formulation. the contents of the sachets, in fact, are already presented as a liquid to drink either by pouring it directly into the mouth or by diluting it in a glass of not boiling water.

Kelart also has a new taste of licorice and mint.

Dosage

We recommend taking one sachet of Kelart per day.
